404 Monitor

Summary

The 404 Monitor module logs attempts by bots or people to access something on your website which does not exist.

How does the 404 Monitor Module works?

Usually users or bots are trying to access a page that has been moved or never existed in the first place. When a page is requested from your site which doesn’t exist, the user sees a page called a 404 error page.

These requests are logged and you can see a list with your site’s 404 page requests, how many such hits it had, the bad links, the referrer URLs, and the User Agents.

Using this module you have the possibility to delete those logged page requests, or redirect them to working pages.
